I found that during uncertainty I don’t deal with it well. My mind wanders and I overthink which for myself I’ve found that looking up what others do to cope helps me. To help me know that I’m not alone and that we’re a community that needs to work together. I have found that within our communities we want to stick together and help when we can. Knowing that we should limit our travel and trips to buy essential items, from the people I know in my community they are doing their best to limit that which keeps themselves and others safe.

In the video above I found that this video really showed me that people are doing the best they can to stay connected during this troubling time. I found this video an inspiration, where even during this time we can do things for others to making them happy and to be there for one another.

During this time I’ve found that social media like Instagram, Podcasts, and looking up articles for staying healthy, have been my own source of keeping grounded. I’ve always used social media but during this time I think that because most everyone has a phone they also seem to be leaning on social media for comfort. I have and I find comfort in seeing what others are doing to cope and stay grounded and connected. For example, I have seen celebrities cook, nothing fancy but it makes me feel connected in a simple way. That at the end of the day, we are all at home cooking for ourselves or for our families. I also saw a blogger who was running out of toilet paper and her neighbor and the blogger had an exchange of toilet paper for a homemade cappuccino (they had a fancy coffee maker). It’s little things like this where you can kind of laugh were we’re at a time were neighbors are exchanging TP for a cup of coffee.
